Research Associate

About the Role

Interwoven Insights is seeking an experienced Research Associate to join our team. In this role, you will lead data risk management, analysis, reporting, and delivery. This is a full-time, fully-remote, US-based position starting August 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

Risk Management

• Identify and assess project risks; develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Develop proactive protocols for real-time data validation.

Survey Development

• Program online surveys in Qualtrics.
• Develop live reports to monitor data collection.
• Manage participant directories and survey distribution workflows.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze large quantitative datasets using advanced statistical methods (e.g., latent variable frameworks, person-centred models, Bayesian inference) to identify relationships and patterns, and turn findings into actionable insights.
• Design comprehensive yet accessible reports and prepare data-driven presentations using descriptive and inferential statistics, thematic narratives, and visual aids.
• Combine findings from quantitative and qualitative inquiry to generate mixed-methods insights.

Data Visualisation

• Prepare datasets for data visualisation.
• Develop intuitive data visualisation dashboards in Tableau and Power BI.

Publications and Presentations

• Prepare and submit competitive manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals based on secondary data analyses.
• Prepare proposals to present findings at national/international academic conferences based on cohort data. 

Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the project teams to monitor project progress and keep projects on track.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Collaborate with project teams, assign tasks, set clear expectations, and foster a collegial work environment.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management

Manage expectations and ensure deliverables align with stakeholder needs and requirements.

Identify project stakeholders and build strong working relationships to ensure effective collaboration throughout a project.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary & Bonuses

• Base salary paid twice monthly (15th and last day of the month). 
• 10% new business bonus on any client revenue you bring to Interwoven Insights.
